My last visit to the high museum, took me to the contemporary Art's wing. It was interesting when I saw another piece of Richard Estes, the American born artist that is known for his amazing photorealist paintings. We studied one of his works in class "Telephone Booths" and here again, I was looking at another piece of his art-works hanging on the wall:
"Supreme Hardware, 1974" _ Oil and acrylic on canvas.
The subject of his paintings are mostly shiny and reflective surface of the buildings. They look so alive and real as if we are standing right there and sun is shining on the buildings in the painting.
