Chilean artist Fredo is an amazing artist. Armed with pencil and a sketchbook, he makes stunning 3D images that appear to pop out of the pages. What amazes me about art like this is the ability to see the unseen. To sketch an illusion seems to be the perfect juncture between a hyper logical mind and an insanely artistic one.
Oh wow...I was so drawn into the picture that I didn't realize it was coming from a sketch book. They look like actual sculptures. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have never really seen a 3D drawing in my lifetime but this is amazing. My 3D television had turned me off from everything 3D (I want my LED back)but this has taught me to respect it. It looks like this drawing is actually coming off the paper. I have passes by this post a lot of days just thinking this was a regular sculpture but this was a pleasant surprise. Terrific Post
ReplyDeleteAs an animation major my passion is 2D animation.Lately I am starting to like 3D animation. The 3D in these pictures are breath taking. I am starting the admire 3D more and more and now it isn't just 3D animation.
