All Eyez on Me

-->
On September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas a 1996 750 black BMW sedan was sprayed full of bullets critically wounding the passenger.  Six days later, the passenger died from the injuries suffered from the bullets to his body. The headline, "Rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur Dead at Age 25".  His death changed the music world.
Sixteen years post his death, Tupac performed at Cochella with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg in 2012. Tupac interacted with the performers and engaged the audience.  Tupac walked across the stage and clapped his hands to the beat, yes Tupac was performing.  A wild, yet interesting form of art brought Tupac back to life---for just a moment.  The 2-D holagram of Tupac was life-like from his mannerisms to the “Thug Life” tattoo across his abdomen.
Would you go to a concert to see a deceased celebrity perform?

TUPAC PERFORMS AT COCHELLA

  1. I don't think I would go to a concert just to see the that deceased celebrity. Even though it would probably be so awesome to see michael Jackson perform, it would just not be the same to me. It's just not the real deal. However, I do think that how Tupac performed at Cochella was appropriate and pretty cool. I wouldn't mind going to that. It kinda depends on the event, audience and what kinda of artist it was for it to work.
    Chris Brown recently came out with a song with Aaliyah. You can see her in the background a few times but just on a screen, not a hologram or anything. But I could see him doing a concert and maybe having a hologram of her or something like that. That would work better I guess than having a whole Aaliyah concert as a holagram.

  2. Denise-I will NOT go to see a full concert of a hologram :-). I think the idea is quite remarkable, though.
